Welcome to the National Adaptation Center

The National Adaptation Centre (NAC) Department is an organizational unit of the Hungarian Mining and Geological Survey (MBFSZ).

The main tasks of the National Adaptation Center (NAC) are helping the strategic planning in the fields of

• reducing greenhouse gas emissions (climate change mitigation by the National Decarbonisation Roadmap)
• adaptation to the expected impacts of climate change (by the National Adaptation Geo-information System and the National Adaptation Strategy).
